A night to myself

After spending a few weeks working on a project for the day-job, I’m ready to finally spend an evening watching shows like “big love” and “extras” which hinge on my ability to stay awake.

Audrey and Margo had their nails painted by Erin while I cleaned up and started their dinner. Once that’s done I’ll finish the evening with a light reading of “flat tail” before they go to bed.

If everything goes smoothly I’ll end up sprawled out on the couch and sleep through “big love” with a bag of chips half emptied onto my chest.

Somewhere around 2am I’ll wake up, stumble back to bed, and spend the remainder of the night tossing and turning because I can’t get back to sleep… 40 is going to be tits.
